Baylee & Her Herd: A Norco Afternoon with Sugar, & Arcky🐴☀️
Norco, CA
There’s something special about photographing on home turf—especially when that home includes a cute foal and majestic horses. I recently had the honor of capturing Baylee on her property in Norco, CA, surrounded by the heart of her ranch: Paloma Blanca (aka Sugar), and her foal Archangel Michael (affectionately called Arcky).
Sugar is a striking Andalusian mare with a gentle yet commanding presence, and Cariñoso, a registered PRE and ANCEE Andalusian stallion, is the epitome of equine nobility. Together, they brought little Arcky into the world on April 8, 2025. Watching him bounce around the arena with foal-like curiosity was pure joy—and photographing his bond with Baylee and Sugar was nothing short of magical.
Baylee looked incredible in every frame—she wore @ranchersbootco Python Snip Toe boots from @alexbootscompany that gave off the perfect balance of rugged and refined, paired with a red vest from @reiner_generation_official and a feather accessory from @bates.cole that added just the right Western flair.
The soft afternoon light, the strong familial bond among the horses, and Baylee’s radiant connection to each of them made this shoot unforgettable. Moments like these—natural, grounded, and real—are why I love what I do.
